How many people need to be in my group to qualify for a group tour?
A group tour is defined as ten or more guests. Groups with more than 30 people may be divided into smaller, more manageable groups. Tours for groups of 10 or less are offered for a minimum donation of $100.
Do you recommend this tour for persons with limited mobility?
Tours include two levels of the theatres and include steep slopes. Climbing stairs is required to access the upper mezzanine area.
Can we tour the backstage of the theatre and dressing room areas?
Backstage and dressing room areas of the theatres are not available for touring.
What time can I schedule my group tour for?
Tours are scheduled Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., due to staff availability and theatre policies.
How long do the group tours take?
The Majestic Theatre takes approximately 45-60 minutes. The Charline McCombs Empire Theatre takes approximately 20 minutes.
Is there a group tour admission?
Yes, group tour admission is $10.00 per person
Where do proceeds from tours go?
Proceeds from tours directly benefit Las Casas Foundation’s scholarship and educational programs.
How do I pay for it?
Cash, debit/credit cards and checks are accepted on the day of the scheduled tour; checks may be made payable to Las Casas Foundation. Please call 210-223-4343 if you wish to submit your payment in advance.
