On Sunday, May 21, 25 finalists from eight high schools in San Antonio and the surrounding area competed in the 2017 Joci Awards. These finalists sang, acted and danced, vying for a chance to win a portion of $105,000 in scholarship funds. All finalists received scholarship funds. Two students were also selected to participate in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA) in New York City. This year’s winners include:
